AIRPORTS

 

Airports present a unique set of challenges for the design and construction management professional. FAA requirements and airport design criteria require training and experience in a field of expertise which is dynamic and specialized. In addition to their general engineering and construction management experience, AIA personnel have successfully completed FAA training programs and are listed and approved to work on the on-air side of airports. 

AIA staff has managed Airport projects in coordination with the Federation Aviation Administration.  AIA’s extensive experience would prove a valuable asset to Airport Systems. 

 

*        Design, rehabilitation and inspection of Airport runways, terminals, and structures.

*        Provide Traffic control plans, storm water pollution plans.

*        Miscellaneous design services on projects at airports, ports, commercial sites and highways

*        Performed site drainage analysis and design for airports, highways and parking lots.

*        Performed utility research, identification, relocation design.

*        Coordination on several projects, some involving high pressure gas lines.

*        Designed illumination for roadways, parking lots, and inspection facilities.

*        Designed steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete bridges, buildings, structures and foundations

*        Completed more than 150 traffic signal designs/warrant studies.
